Therese Clifford – Director

With over 25 years experience in the entertainment industry I have been fortunate to have a career that has given me the opportunity to work and travel the world to places such as New York, Japan, Hong Kong and the Caribbean.

Successfully auditioning for the ‘Lee Strasburg Institute of Performing Arts, New York’ and the ‘New York Dance Company’ were significant parts of my career.

I have worked throughout Australia in many facets of the performing arts as an actor, dancer, choreographer, director, producer, television presenter, event manager, business developer, consultant, talent agent, more.

Some of my credits include - ‘Water Rats’, ‘Comedy Inc’, Jesus Christ Superstar, Joseph and his Technicolour Dream Coat. Playing lead in Stepping Out, Lipstick Dreams, Conversations with a Golliwog, Calamity Jane and Oklahoma. Television commercials are also on the list along with launching fashions shows, charity events, variety shows and regular children’s performances throughout major venues and shopping centre’s.

My biggest achievement was in 1995 when I had my daughter, adding a new dimension to my skills - parenting. It was this that inspired me to give back to others what I had experienced and open my own School of Performing Arts – TCP, which quickly became one to the largest performing arts schools on the North Coast, won numerous elite competitions and was actively involved in many productions.

My teaching and choreography opened doors for me to work in a number of reputable studios, which lead me to adjudicating many Eisteddfods’ throughout Australia along with implementing performance enhancement to my work.

With my own business ‘Positive Creations’, I created and produced a children’s Television Show ‘The Popsicles’.

I have worked as a talent agent for many years in some of Sydney’s most reputable agencies and represented some of Australia’s most successful young stars.
